The NEC Code Electrical Database system has been provided on these disks
in a partially archived form in order to save space.
In order to set up your hard disk:
1) Prepare a subdirectory for the data C> MD\NEWDIR
(NEWDIR is any name you wish -
or pick an existing subdirectory)
2) Go to that new subdirectory C> CD\NEWDIR
3) Copy the contents of this disk to
the hard disk with the command: C> COPY A:*.*
4) Issue the command C> PKXARC *.ARC
This will unarchive the DATA
and KEYS datasets
5) Delete the archived files with C> ERASE *.ARC
6) Replace the disk in the A: drive with EN11B.0 (disk 2)
7) Unarchive the CHAIN data with C> PKXARC A:CHAIN
8) Final cleanup can be done with C> ERASE (*.*
C> ERASE PBS.BAT
C> ERASE PKXARC.*

The documentation files on this disk can be identified by their
extensions of .DOC, .TXT, or names like README.
These can be viewed with the PBS-VIEW program such as PBS-VIEW PBS.TXT
or shown on the screen with the TYPE command such as TYPE PBS.TXT
or copied to the printer with the COPY command such as COPY PBS.TXT PRN
